Join the members of Tacoma Rotary Club #8 for a Veterans Day program recognizing Rotary members that have served in the Armed Forces.

The recipient of the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce John H. Anderson Military Citizen of the Year Award will be honored. This is the 41st year of the award, named for the past Tacoma mayor, honoring an outstanding military citizen for civic contributions to resident military personnel.

About John H. Anderson

John H. Anderson served as Tacoma’s mayor in the early to mid-1950s. He was also a past Chair of the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber Board of Directors, as well as a successful local businessman.
