Schedule (4) 10 hour shifts per week. Standard schedules below, schedules will vary based on fluctuations in department needs:
Monday – Thursday, 10:00am – 9:00pm
Thursday – Friday, 10:00am – 9:00pm
Saturday – Sunday, 9:00am – 8:00pm
Friday, 10:00am – 9:00pm
Saturday, Sunday – 9:00am – 8:00pm
Monday, 10:00am – 9:00pm
Summer schedules vary from the last week in May and until the last week in August. Scheduled hours may be reduced for 12 month employees to 24 to 30 hours per week or less during this time period. Employees are encouraged to utilize accrued vacation during this time period.
The Prep Cook maintains a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service. Supports the Managers and Supervisors in maintaining department standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing, seasoning, and cooking salads, soups, sandwiches, ethnic dishes, desserts, and other food stuff for consumption in the university dining facility. Reports to the Executive Chef.
