Pierce County nonprofits are coming together to discuss the challenges facing their organizations, including minimum wage, funding and financial sustainability, advocacy, and navigating policy changes.

The conversation will also explore how the Chamber can better understand, support, and advocate for our nonprofit community.

About The Facilitator - Erik Hanberg
Erik Hanberg has spent more than twenty years building stronger nonprofits, public institutions, and media organizations.

His work spans nonprofit governance and fundraising, elected public office, public media leadership, and fiction writing — connected by a through-line of clear communication, strategic thinking, and a deep commitment to civic life.

Erik consults with nonprofit boards and executive directors across the country and has worked with organizations on four continents.

He has facilitated board retreats in Washington D.C., Atlanta, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and across Western Washington, and speaks regularly as a keynote at national nonprofit and association conferences on fundraising, governance, and leadership.

He runs For Small Nonprofits, a site dedicated to providing practical, accessible advice for leaders of small and very small nonprofits.
