Mr. JT Wilcox

A graduate of Yelm High School and Washington State University, JT Wilcox spent 25 years at his family business, Wilcox Farms, serving as COO and CFO.  In 2007, following the sale of the dairy foods part of Wilcox Farms, JT began consulting with his firm, Wilcox Strategies.  Wilcox was elected to the WA State House of Representatives in 2010 and served until his retirement in 2025.  He was elected by his Caucus as House Republican Floor Leader for 6 years and then as House Republican Leader for 5 years.  In 2024 he stepped back from leadership and ended his time in the State House the following year.  Wilcox resumed consulting, advising groups and companies on governmental relations, Legislative strategy, family succession and general business in mid 2025 and also ran for the part time position of Port of Tacoma Commissioner.  He was sworn in as commissioner in January 2026 and continues to consult as well.
