The Northwest College of Art and Design is proud to announce our very first Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program! This program will debut in September of 2027, with the application currently available on our website. The Northwest College of Art and Design (NCAD) MFA will offer concentrations in either Graphic Design or User Experience (UX). This program emphasizes concept-driven, studio-based learning within a critique-driven environment, preparing students to think as both strategists and creative leaders. Over the course of this two-year, synchronous program, Graphic Design students will explore branding, typography, and systems thinking as they develop into designer-authors, while UX students will dive into human-centered research, interaction design, and prototyping to bridge design, behavior, and technology.
With faculty composed of practicing professionals and a curriculum built around real-world and research-based projects, the NCAD MFA in Innovative Design equips graduates for roles such as Creative Leader, UX Strategist, Design Researcher, and Educator.https://www.ncad.edu/mfa
