Demetria ''Lynn'' Strickalnd

Demetria “Lynn” Strickland is an Army veteran, has 25+ years of management experience in several sectors and is a former Dean of Instruction at Bates Technical College. Lynn has been with AJAC since 2012 and Executive Director since 2014. AJAC develops and implements employer-driven pre-apprenticeship, youth apprenticeship and registered apprenticeship programs open to all employers across Washington State in the advanced manufacturing industries. AJAC’s registered apprenticeship programs allows apprentices to work full-time, earn college credit with access to a 2 year degree and no college debt while being instructed by current industry professionals.  AJAC partners with secondary, post-secondary, community based organizations and state agencies to implement and expand all program offerings.  Lynn has an M.A. in Organizational Leadership with a graduate certificate in Human Resources.
