About Us
Rai of Sunshine Early Learning Center has a vision to serve families in the city of Lakewood WA, bringing a capacity large enough to serve close to 100 families. Rai of Sunshine will have 5 classrooms from Infant to 5 years old hoping to expand to before school and after school programs, As well a resource room for families who homeschool their children, work from home, looking for jobs and other resources in their community, and who would like to teach some of their own cultural classes in the community. We see the need for us to heal OUR COMMUNITY with our families and to support them in connecting them with the local school district and empowering them to navigate their school child and family's education experience especially Black and Brown families that may not feel safe and taken care of in other spaces, as well as Military families who continuously move to serve our country. Rai of Sunshine is not just an early learning Center but also a family resource area where we can connect families with other families and partners in our community.
